Taking Inspired Action Vs Desperate Action
One of the biggest lessons I have learnt in business is that your success is about 90% mindset and 10% skill. It is sometimes difficult to focus so much of your time on mindset when you believe that generating a ton of traffic leading to sales is the answer to your problems.
However, generating thousands of leads will lead only to disappointment and frustration if you do not allow the flow or prosperity and abundance into your life. Most of us are obviously in business to make money, and quite often are in situations where we are almost desperate to change our financial situation, but focusing only on getting out of the situation your are in forces you to take action out of desperation and not inspiration.
Being extremely driven and determined and believing you are destined for great things in your life is an incredible gift, yet, sometimes we can act hastily on our goals and be driven by our neediness and not for the larger vision that is inside of us. Chasing after the material rewards only and acting out of desperation leads only to frustration by not allowing you to move forward in your goals.
If you keep doing what you have always done, then you will keep getting what you have always got. To change your course, you have to make some serious changes in you. Let go of the past and live only in the now. Get a true understanding of your purpose in life and trust and believe that what you know about yourself and how you can make your mark in the world is accurate and inspiring.
If you know that your life’s purpose is to help and inspire others and lead others to live fulfilling and successful lives, then you are destined to do great things in your life if you remain committed to the higher purpose and not your immediate gratification goals. You must be able to see the broader picture and be bold.
The path of an entrepreneur is not an easy one, and you will come across many challenges that will seem insurmountable at times, but to truly keep on track you must remain committed to your larger vision. Most people, unfortunately, do not have a bigger vision. It doesnt mean they cant – they just havent searched beyond the surface of their own needs to find their true purpose.
When you discover your true purpose, your actions will be different because you will be taking inspired action instead of desperate action and your heart will be singing with joy in knowing that you are fulfilling your life’s purpose.
Leave me a comment if you have a lifes purpose you want to share.

I first of all want to say “NICE PIC” on your sticky note there on the side bar
Secondly, I have a few purposes in life.
A big part of my heart was given to the animal kingdom a long time ago. When I was working up in northern Alberta, I used to go to the SPCA and walk a different dog each day. My goal was to walk all of the dogs in there at least once, and I got to take many of them twice. The animals in a shelter just make you melt and want to take them all home, but you can’t.
I loved to offer my time walking the dogs and brushing the cats, and while I was living there I also purchased some dog toys and kitten food…there are always wish lists available at places such as that one.
I would love to create a place where all the animals in shelters could live more comfortably.
For myself, I would love to travel the world and enjoy the culture at as many places I can set foot.
Great Post Jenni
Hello, This is a excellent article, but I was wondering how do I suscribe to the RSS feed?
just click on subscribe by RSS at the top right hand side
Jenni, I needed to here that. Yesterday was a very tough day and I just got on board. Some of the biggest obstacles to overcome in a business like this are those in your own household. Very uplifting feed. Thank you.
Helpful info !
I’ve been researching much and once reading this post all I could say is “finally someone who writes rather than obsessing #with his# website figures”. great job. You just made the internet a greater place after 1/2 the people online only doing this to monetize every word.
