Ever since reading Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring Book about 2 years ago, an incredible change has happened not only in my business but in the success of my team.

Prior to this. I was just like most Network Marketers who had no clue what I was doing… just following the advice of my upline who were still insisting that using sales and advertising methods developed in the 80′s were still effective today. You know how it goes… write your list of friends and family, do as many business presentations as you can and maybe one out of 100 might join. 100 calls to find 10 prospects to close 1 sale.  (Unless of course, you are gifted in the art of closing and thrive on having the skills to manipulate people to joining you).

Since the introduction of social media sites like Facebook and twitter, now these uneducated network marketers think they have struck gold by being able to pitch their business all day long to strangers believing that the company they are promoting is of course the best in the world. (Who doesnt right). So pitching to other people who are also pitching can be an endless waste of time.  Numbers say that this may work in very small percentages… but it sure cant be much fun and whats to say that anyone you sponsor this way, may just as easily jump ship again when the next greatest pre-launch or opportunity comes along.

Thankfully, since Mangetic Sponsoring and working with a marketing system that teaches attraction and value based marketing I now am able to sponsor people automatically based on the value I provide. Sure., I absolutely believe that I market the best products in the world… but I dont lead with that pitch because quite frankly I would NOT stand out from the crowd that way nor would any serious marketers be interested in what I have.

Through providing valuable content and offering a solution that solves most network marketers problems, I find people are MUCH more likely to look at your business opportunity and want to work with you , because of YOU, not the actual product. Of course, products are still important. If you are just marketing some magic jungle juice that quite honestly is an over saturated marketed and highly competitive then you may want to re-evaluate what you have that is different from all the rest.

If you were to sit down and write a list of the ideal prospects you would like in your team to build a successful business I am quite sure your list would not include get rich quick seekers, unmotivated lazy people or people thinking that a business is just a hobby. Wouldnt you prefer to attract serious entrepreneurs, professionals and success minded people who understand that its a business and not a job?

This is an impossible task if you continue to pitch your business in the fashion you have been taught. Successful people are not going to be sold on your magic jungle juice as a viable business opportunity.  Perception in the marketplace IS important , you cannot ignore the fact that if thousands of distributors for a company are out there posting signs on poles and arm twisting their friends and family its seriously going to effect how your company is perceived in the marketplace.

Here is the formula for the top 1% of internet network marketers.

1) Set up your markeitng system

2) Start generating traffic

3) Convert your traffic into leads

4) Enroll people into a funded proposal providing valuable internet marketing education

5) Sponsor people automatically and effortlessly into your primary company with a product that pays out huge commission up front… not peanuts.
