About 90 days ago, I was plodding along in my business, doing loads of activity, but not really achieving the results I thought I deserved. I knew something was missing and then the announcement came that DK and Jimmy Davis from MLM Goldmine were offering a new 90 day challenge. I had heard of these challenges before, but this time – I knew the timing was right and I had to find a way to take part.

I came into the challenge expecting to be challenged and knew from the outset that the 90 day challenge was going to transform my business. You see, just making that decision upfront already sets you up for success. I knew that if it was up to me – it was up to me and I was going to do everything that was expected because I already knew of these 2 guys and what they had helped others achieve. I was committed.

Some of the things I discovered along the way about myself was that I would tend to get overwhelmed sometimes with the homework assignments and the time that I had, but what I found was that I really could focus and even complete some of these assignments all in one day if I had to. I treated this seriously and no matter what I was going to complete every assignment on time.

There were so many golden nuggets along the way , but the biggest thing for me was stepping up as a leader and pushing myself to step out of my comfort zone and be the leader who I was. Dk talked about when he first started out holding conference calls even if no one showed up, it was the act of actually being a leader that made him rise to the challenge. This inspired me to do the same, and without worrying about how or what I was going to do – I took action on this and started my own conference calls to help others with questions about marketing, mindset or anything in business.

What the 90 Day challenge and DK and Jimmy have done for me is actually bring out the best in me and this is a very commendable skill. I can honestly say that I can hardly recognise myself from when I started in just the overall package and shifting from someone who lacked confidence in my own ability to shining as a leader and knowing that I have extreme value to give to people.

In my 5 years of being in this industry, this is finally what it took to push through some of the boundaries I had on myself. No other book or course has every made such an impact on my business.

I highly recommend  that anyone who believes they have the drive and ability to really become a leader, and is really just stagnant and not moving forward then the 90 Day challenge is definetely  a course that will give you that edge and help you put all the pieces of the puzzle together and finally let you shine.

I am sure alot of leaders in MLM would disagree, but in the 21st Century and since the internet age, things have changed in MLM and what used to be once a great business model for the average person, is now extremely difficult to make money in.

20 years ago, there were really only a handful of successful Network Marketing companies, they had little competition and marketing was largerly done face to face and the whole business was built on loyalty and relationships. Now, you only have to go to the internet, to see a plethera of business opportunities all shouting that they have the best products and the best compensation plan and people who are searching to make money tend to jump from one opportunity to another.

All it takes is one well placed ad in front of your organisation and bang…. one of your leaders leave and take their whole team with them. I have witnessed this firsthand and seen huge organisations disintegrate overnight making people’s years of hard work turn into dust and their checks drop to nothing just as quickly.

So, how do you avoid this? The sad thing is you can’t , there is nothing you can do about it. The internet is here to stay and the companies who advance with the internet era will survive and the rest will continue to plummet.

After  4 and 1/2 years of extremely hard work sponsoring and continually chasing my dreams, I came across a report that changed my life forever. Some people in the network marketing industry have approached me and said ” I have a very small marketing budget – can you teach me how to drive qualified traffiic to my website”. Well, the answer is ‘yes’, however, you must be very careful about what you are marketing on social media in order to be effective.

Facebook has over 100 million users that log on to facebook at least once a day, so its fair to say that it is one of the most highly trafficed websites on the internet.

A fair amount of network marketers have become aware that facebook is a great place to market their business, however, 90% of them are doing it all wrong. Whilst they may see short lived traffic spikes by promoting their replicated web pages and pitching their business to anyone who will listen, people on social media sites soon become immune to the loud noise of everyone pitching their greatest opportunties.

I dont know how many times i have had people message me online on facebook , try to make conversation briefly and then immediately try to tell me about how great their business is , and i can tell you from experience that this is NOT effective.  I even had one person have the audacity to say, “what would it take for you to join my team. ” Let me explain why this is so wrong. Firstly, these people never take the time to get to know you so they have no idea about your needs or what you want and secondly when you are actively prospecting and trying to ‘sell’ your business to people who never asked for any information it comes from a place of desperation and scarcity and does not represent them as a leader.

I have produced hundreds of high quality leads out of facebook and funnelled through different marketing systems and i have and made thousands of dollars worth of commisions out of free leads, so I about to share with you the exact strategies i have in place to gather highly targeted leads….. so listen up!

I started on facebook with zero  friends and now have well over 2000 and all i did was start by spending at least an hour a day, adding friends and building up my friend base to start with. Then,  I started connecting with people and just being sociable and once I had started to get a big enough friend base I created my own group in which I was going to share valuable marketing tips and provide valuable content to help struggling network marketers.  Over time I managed to have a group of people of over 900 people who joined my group and with whom I could now share my cotent with and started attracting people to me who started asking questions and wanting to know more about what I do. I also posted valuable video content on facebook and made my self a resource to help other people. So, can you see how this can be much more effective by attracting leaders to you and serious prospects rather than the average person who is just looking to get rich quick

It is a sad but true fact that around 97% of people who enter the network marketing and direct sales arena never actually make a dime or actually end up spending themselves out of business. The biggest problem with people in the network marketing industry is the lack of actual real marketing training. Pitching your friends and family and buying lists of deadbeat leads who were only looking to win a free laptop does not make a good marketing plan.

I cant tell you the amount of wrong people that i bought into my previous MLM business before I really understood how to market. I was constantly hand holding people, trying to motivate them and they were people who were continually whining and whinging about their lack of results.

Is there any doubt when all my upline could teach me to teach them was to spend all day delivering flyers to get minimal results and hold home parties and post flyers on windscreens of cars. Once people lost enthusiasm on these less than effective tactics, we would then move them on to purchasing overpriced, unqualified leads where we would spend hours on the phone trying to convince people to look at presentations or purchase our products.

Now, thankfully I have evolved somewhat from the prehistoric marketing techniques to now dominating on the internet using very effective marketing techniques such as:

Article Marketing

PPC Marketing

Video Marketing

Ezine Marketing

List Building

Forum Marketing

Banner Advertising

These are just some of the methods that I can assist you with if you really want to explode your network marketing business online.
